Taking a bus is an efficient and affordable way to travel between the two territories. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to take the Hong Kong to Macau bus:

1. Go to the HZMB Hong Kong Port

You can travel to the HZMB (Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge) Hong Kong Port via taxi (this is recommended if you have a lot of luggage), but you can also take public transportation:

  • Take the MTR to Tung Chung Station.
  • From the Tung Chung Station, take Exit D and look for the bus terminal.
  • Take the B6 bus to the HZMB Hong Kong Port Bus Terminal.

2. Buy your Hong Kong-Macau ticket

You can buy a ticket at the multiple ticket terminals at the HZMB Port. But if you prefer to buy a ticket in advance, you can purchase one at this website.
