All of the beachfronts of the islands for tourists are decorated with the iconic striped Vinta sails, a symbol of Zamboanga City’s multi-cutlural heritage. Aside from the four developed islands, the other islands that make up the eleven include Sallangan, Simaddang, Lambang-Lambang, Baguias, Kabugan, Panganak, Lampinigan.

To ensure the responsible and sustainable tourism development and cultural sensitivity in the island-hopping destination, the site is managed and led by the community and indigenous peoples who live there with support from the LGU, City Tourism Office and tourism agencies.
