Where to go this weekend.

This beautiful waterfall cascades over rock formations. It’s accessible via a short walk from the motorcycle parking area. Wade in the pool and get a ‘shower/massage’. Take photos of the picturesque views before leaving.

How to Go

By Land and Sea

There are regular buses from Metro Manila (Kamias, Cubao and Sampaloc) to Tuguegarao; bus fare is around P886 to P1150+++ one way depending on ticket class. From Tuguegarao, board a bus bound for Claveria, fare is around P250 and may take six hours. Alternatively, there are buses traveling directly to Claveria from Sampaloc, Manila. The companies plying this route are Florida Bus and RCI Bus Line; fare is about P800.

From Claveria, board a ‘lampitaw’ to Calayan, fare is approximately P500 to P600. The trip may take up to 6 hours depending on sea conditions and weather.

By Air

With the completion of the airport on the island in March 27, 2019, visitors can hope for flights to Calayan via Tuguegarao in the future.
