Marked by a lone towering white cross in the middle of a bay, the Sunken Cemetery in Catarman, Camiguin is an underwater revelry borne out of a 19th-century tragedy: An earthquake that swept the entire graveyard and its surrounding areas into the sea. Now a popular snorkeling and diving spot, it is frequently visited by tourists and is accessible by boat.
