Aside from its proximity to the metro, Zambales remains a favorite summer destination for its picturesque landscapes and island coves that will allow you to disconnect from the outside world for a few days. While there are plenty of beach resorts and camping grounds around, you might want a more intimate setting for your next Zambales getaway. Check out The Healing Cottage in Botolan:
The Healing Cottage
Boasting pastel exteriors, The Healing Cottage stands out in the beachfront setting. This rustic stay is tucked within an 8-hectare farm in Botolan, Zambales, where you’ll be surrounded by lots of trees, plants, and open space. You’ll be having the best of both worlds during your staycation: the glistening sea as your front yard and the farm grounds, which you’re free to explore.
The best thing about your stay is that you’ll be the only ones swimming at the beach. From sunrises to sunsets, you’ll have colorful skies and crystal-clear waters as your background while you take your beach photos. No need to be self-conscious at all!
This Healing Cottage is perfect for small families or a group of friends. It can accommodate up to four guests, and it’s equipped with ramps for easy wheelchair access. Talk about accessibility! The front door already opens to the main bedroom and an open bathroom and tub.
The tub area has a transparent roof – you can go stargazing as you take a warm bubble bath at night.
If you’re taking a break from swimming, there are lounging areas near the beach area.
Cooking is not allowed on the property for safety reasons. You would have to avail of the mandatory meal fee of P1,850 per head per day, which is already inclusive of 3 meals and a snack. There’s no need to worry about cooking – all there’s left to do is focus on your well-deserved vacay and enjoy your organic farm-to-table meals.
Guest access and activities
Aside from having the beach exclusively, guests are also free to explore the farm grounds. Feeling adventurous? You can also book tours, for an additional fee, and try their various land and water activities such as hiking, surfing, dirt biking, and kayaking.
Before you drive to Zambales, don’t forget to bring your vaccination card or certificate as the Airbnb owner requires it.
