If you’ve ever dreamed of living the farm life even just for a quick getaway, this cottage in Amedeo, Cavite would give you that much-needed break from your usual everyday routine.

Arca Country Farm

Just a few minutes away from the busy city of Tagaytay, Arca Country Farm is a family-owned space that’s dedicated to growing and promoting organic farm produce. Though it’s near the city, the farm is still secluded enough to give you the peace and quiet you’ve been yearning for. A stay at this cottage would make you appreciate the slow life that’s relaxing and full of appreciation for the surrounding nature. The cottage has a veranda in front where you can dine al fresco during breakfast or simply enjoy the cool weather while watching free-roaming chickens around the farm.

Nestled in the farm is a charming one-bedroom cottage that can accommodate up to four guests. The space is enough to host a small family; it has one bunker bed, a small double bed, and a sofa bed. You can also find a fully equipped kitchen, refrigerator, and a television. But with a relaxing place like this, would you even want to stay indoors and watch TV all day?

There’s plenty of space for guests to roam around and appreciate the beauty of nature. Plantitos and plantitas would have fun at the new plant nursery, there’s a gazebo for enjoying fun games like sungka, darts, and soft archery, and kids can run around playing in the spacious garden or visit the small petting coop with bunnies, pigeons, and heritage chickens.

Guests can also visit the greenhouses and try their hands at farming and learn a few tips and tricks from the owners themselves. You can’t just go empty-handed after visiting a farm; their produce is also for sale and you can even harvest them yourself!
