Also known as oyster mee sua, oyster vermicelli is a street food staple in Taiwan. It’s a steaming bowl of salted wheat flour noodles in rich broth that’s topped with oyster meat, which can be substituted with slices of pig’s large intestine.

Where to get it: Locals and tourists alike flock to Ah Zhong Mee Sua in Ximending or Chen Ji Mee Sua in Wanhua District for their oyster vermicelli fix.
