I think of travelling as a life-long investment. When you travel, you invest on experiences that hopefully earn you good interest in the form of wonderful memories. And I see the places I travel to as new people met who hopefully turn into good friends, never mind that we see each other only once in a while or even sometimes just once in a lifetime, each with a unique personality and fond memories shared. Siargao is that easy-going, friendly and cool friend who’s a great host and cooks really well. You know, that friend you warm up easily to and want to hang out with more often.
