To the delight of travelers and Marinduque residents, Cebu Pacific Air has launched thrice a week flights to the island province starting April 2019. This development comes in the heels of the province’ renewed campaign to promote its local tourism industry which suffered deficits when commercial flights arriving into the island stopped for several years.

Operated by Cebu Pacific subsidiary CebGo, the direct MNL (Terminal 4) – MRQ flights now gives travelers and balikbayans the option to cut travel time from the usual 7-8 hours to less than an hour of air travel. To harness the island’s potential as a premier eco-tourism destination, Cebu Pacific brought along travel writers on its maiden flight to the island to highlight a list of must-see places and must-do activities for tourists to experience.
